Mum

The beginning stages of Mum were thought up in February 2022, in hopes to shine some light on a tough situation. What was originally conceptualized for my first-year term project at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), turned into a passion project of mine that I aim to continue in the future.

Mum follows the story of my mother as she received the diagnosis of Hodgkins Lymphoma, a form of blood cancer, in early 2022.

Body Testament

Body Testament was thought up in October of 2022 as part of my second year, fall semester final project. The concept came about after having several conversations with my roommates about media representation for different body types.

I wanted to showcase parts of the body that may be seen as "ugly," or areas that are under-represented. No photoshop or post-production beautification techniques were used on any of the images.
